ABC Manufacturing and Supply

2024-25 ABC Manufacturing and Supply United Way Campaign

Campaign Dates:  August 13-20, 2024

Website:  https://www.unitedwayfc.org/abcmanufacturing

The ABC Manufacturing and Supply coordinates an annual campaign drive for United Way of Freeborn County. United Way of Freeborn County depends on community donations from individuals and organizations to help meet the needs of our community. To assist in meeting our ongoing community needs, we are running a worksite campaign from August 13th-20th this year. For those selecting payroll deduction, the 12-month period spans from January 1st, 2025 through December 31st, 2025.

We will have a drawing for $100 in Chamber Bucks for any employee that donates to this campaign. It was provided by a United Way of Freeborn County donor to be used specifically for this purpose. To be included in the drawing your donation must be entered using either the electronic form below or by turning in the pledge envelope to Jessica Smith by August 20th, 2024. The drawing will take place on Wednesday, August 21st.

Our United Way funds PROGRAMS in our community - not agencies. They also work with our community to meet needs as they arise. Some examples of the community needs addressed include:

· Opened the Welcome Food Pantry in June of 2023, serving over 500 households each month

· Assisting with Food Insecurity through various local program grants (including the Food for Backpacks Program)

· Assisting with the Child Care Crisis through grants to provide scholarships

· The annual Winter Gear Drive working directly with school social workers, families, and our community to provide winter gear for families in need

· The United Way Dolly Parton Imagination Library provides books for children ages birth-5 years old each month to enhance early literacy

· Assisting families to help address family needs and/or access assistance programs via the 2-1-1 program (this includes the annual Jingle program)

Your support of the United Way is greatly appreciated to help continue the work of meeting our communities’ needs. Your contribution can be directed to a specific program/initiative or can be a general donation to be applied to one of our supported programs.

Please strongly consider a donation to the United Way using the secure online form. If you choose a payroll deduction, these deductions will begin on the January 9th paycheck and go until December 31st, 2025. Please make sure to select 26 pay periods on the form when asked.

If you would prefer to still submit a contribution via check or cash (or just prefer the paper submission over electronic), please stop by the main office for a United Way pledge form and return it to Jessica Smith by August 20th, 2024.

An outdoor drop box is located at the UWFC office for your convenience.

Thank you for supporting the annual campaign drive for the United Way of Freeborn County! We appreciate your contribution to make a difference in the lives of the families in our community.
