Your Workplace Campaign

We are so glad you're here!

We are thrilled you have decided to support United Way of Freeborn County through a workplace campaign!

Your contributions are an integral part of our work in Freeborn County.  Our United Way funds PROGRAMS in our community - not agencies. We also work with our community to meet needs as they arise.

Some examples of the community needs addressed:

  • We opened the Welcome Food Pantry in June of 2023, serving between 300-500 households each month.
  • We assist with Food Insecurity through various local program grants (including the Food for Backpacks Program).
  • We host an annual Winter Gear Drive working directly with school social workers, families, and our community to provide winter gear for families in need.
  • We work to assist families to help address family needs and/or access assistance programs via the 2-1-1 program (this includes the annual Jingle program).

Your support of the United Way is greatly appreciated to help continue the work of meeting our communities’ needs. Your contribution can be directed to a specific program/initiative or can be a general donation to be applied to one of our supported grantee programs listed in the 2024 Community Impact Handout.
