Food Insecurity

With our focus on impacting communities, United Way plays a key role in ensuring everyone has access to food.
By developing key partnerships with agencies such as the
Channel One Regional Food Bank, UWFC was able to provide Pop Up Pantries from May 2020 to May 2021.
These are not permanent food resources, and there will be no Pop Up Pantries after May 14th, 2021.

United Way administers funds from the federal Emergency Food & Shelter Program, which provides area shelters and pantries with funds each year. In 2020, 24,272 was allocated to area pantries and meal sites.

UPDATE: Ruby's Pantry is listed as next coming on June 5th 20201 from 8:45-10:00 am. Visit their Facebook Page here to stay up to date.
