Farmers State Bank

Thank you for being on the Frontline!

It's been a tough year for you. We see how hard you've been working--keeping operations going, safely. Working to support the local economy with the PPP loans. The late nights, the dedicated customer service, and the constant engagement with your community.
THANK YOU.
Farmers State Bank is a great example of living your motto. Community owned. Community focused. FSB has stepped up in numerous ways, and we see the work you've done, the impact you've made as community leaders.

From celebrating fun events, to working as a team to keep each other safe, to using your platform to recognize our local businesses, to collecting coats for the Winter Gear Drive, Farmers State Bank is making a difference!

Last year, thanks to FSB taking up an extra collection for the United Way, we were able to buy new winter gear for 10 students in the area!
FSB was essential in helping us set up our Safety Net Fund, bringing in
$63,000 to distribute to our non-profits in need.

Here at United Way of Freeborn County, we're making a difference too. Partnering with Channel One Regional Food Bank, we were able to bring in over 35,000 pounds of food distributed throughout the summer with our Pop Up Pantries. We helped our Partner Agencies like The Life Center stay connected with their members by funding Ipads.
We fund Adult Basic Education's childcare program, allowing community members to learn English, get that GED or brush up on their knowledge before embarking on a new career.

Community Owned, Community Focused is a motto we can identify with. Decisions are made at a local level, with local volunteers serving on our Board of Directors and our committees. We're grateful for the support that FSB has given to United Way as we strive to be the central place to connect our community with the resources they need the most.

We invite you to learn and explore about the impact United Way has in Freeborn County and how you can join the fight. Our website is a recent upgrade to our efforts, so please check back often to learn about volunteer opportunities, the developing programs and opportunities to be participate throughout the next few months.
