Our United Way is currently seeking Allocations Committee Volunteers!

Allocations Committee Volunteers:
- Are critical to ensure that contributions from community members are invested in ways that have the greatest impact
- Evaluate each program that requests funds, have an opportunity to tour organizations and find out more about how programs are serving our community.
- Volunteers spend an estimated 15-20 hours over a period of 8 weeks (April-May)
- Are donors! Anyone who has made a gift to the United Way of Freeborn County can help decide where funds are invested.
Volunteer in Albert Lea and Freeborn County!
United Way promotes volunteer opportunities throughout Albert Lea and Freeborn County. Local nonprofit organizations are available through a searchable website which highlights opportunities based on people’s skills and interests. United Way works with individuals, groups and families helping them find meaningful ways they can make a difference in the community.
